Strachur is a small village on the southern shores of Loch Fyne with a lively local community. There is a village hall which hosts a wide variety of groups and activities throughout the year and a shinty pitch for the local team. Find out more at Strachur.org.uk.

One of the groups, the Local History Society, has been building a huge archive of old photographs on their Strachur and District Local History Society website. These wonderful images show Strachur then and now.
