We open again on 25th May 2024

Cathie Montgomery was interviewed about the Smiddy on the Sunday morning programme "Broadcasting House" on BBC radio 4 on August 30th 2020.

This came about following an item they broadcast on August 23rd about the British Museum re-opening with Covid-19 safety measures. They asked to hear from other museums. We sent them a recording of the forge bellows for their "slow radio" section, and they decided to do an interview. Probably because we were about as far as you could get from the British Museum, both geographically and in terms of size.
